The good news released in March by Virgil Yingling, Coordinator of Special Olympics Ohio-Belmont County, is a return-to-play for local athletes after a full year of no sports activities.

The return starts with bowling on Tuesdays and Thursdays at St. Clair Lanes in St. Clairsville. Athletes with last names beginning with the letters A through K will bowl on Tuesdays starting March 30, at 2:30 p.m. Athletes with last names between L through Z will bowl on Thursdays starting April 1 at 2:30 p.m.

All athletes must get their physicals before the start date. They must also observe social distancing and wear a mask while bowling.
