The Belmont and Harrison County Boards of Developmental Disabilities are jointly seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support families of children birth to three whose child is experiencing a developmental delay. This person will serve families in both Harrison and Belmont counties.

Our supports occur both in the family’s home and virtually and are designed to enhance the capacity and competency of the caregiver as the child’s first and best teacher.

This person will be the key contact for the family and will work on behalf of the family and child through eligibility determination, Individualized Family Service Plan development and service access, provision, and monitoring. 

The ideal candidate will be a great listener, a team player, and have excellent communication and organization skills.  Prior experience working with children and families is a plus.  A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in a field related to child and family studies, child development, counseling, education, or social services; an Associate’s Degree or a Registered Nursing licensure will be considered.  The Board will assist a qualified candidate to obtain additional necessary certifications.

The position is full-time and offers a comprehensive benefits package.  Compensation is based upon experience and education level.

Maintenance Crew Worker

The Belmont Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Maintenance Crew Worker.

This position is responsible for general maintenance duties. Duties may include performing minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and groundskeeping work, operating machine tools and welding equipment, handling general equipment maintenance and other responsibilities.

Basic knowledge and skills in use of hand, power tools and equipment, operation and maintenance of diesel-powered equipment, and welding is necessary. A high school diploma, driver’s license and at least one year of experience working in a maintenance position is required. A CDL is preferred.

The position is full-time and offers a benefits package. Compensation is based upon experience.
