Residential Options

The County Board works with residential providers to develop housing options. This includes privately-owned homes, apartments and ICFs (Intermediate Care Facilities for People with Intellectual Disabilities). ICFs are funded through Medicaid and provide 24-hour care. At least four people live in an ICF. To learn more about ICFs, click on the links below.

Waivers are funded through Medicaid and pay for services that people receive while living on their own, with family, or other people in the community, instead of living in an ICF.
